The 2023 Valve Technology and Standards Seminar, jointly organized by the Chinese Petroleum Institute (CPSI), the American Petroleum Institute (API), and the National Drilling and Production Standards Committee (CPECS), was held in Suzhou, China on December 8th.
Chinese and American experts respectively introduced the development of China's valve industry, the construction of American API standards, and conducted in-depth discussions on the key provisions of API 6D (25th edition) standards. They also had online interaction with American standard drafting experts. This event has profound significance for Chinese users, enterprises, research institutions, and others to understand API standards.
The representative of the Zhejiang Valve Standards and Technology Committee participated in this seminar, and the submitted standard analysis list received good clarification, strongly supporting the improvement and construction of the standard system.
